In my home area, Hokkaido, “Jingisukan” is
very popular food.
My mother has sent it to me with citric
acid.
Nowadays, she is addicting the citric acid because
she believes it is very good for health so she requests I also drink it.
Anyway, most of people, living in mainland
of Japan, don’t want to eat “Jingisukan” because they believe mutton is a stink
but Hokkaido “Jingiskan” is a completely not stink.
At first, even though I recommend them to
eat it, they always doubt the smell and don’t want to eat but if they try it,
everybody surprise the good taste, no stink and they become fan of “Jingisukan”.
I really want to say I’ve never eaten stink
mutton in Hokkaido.
It is really tasty!
My mother has sent me 2 types of “Jingisukan”
and I think top one Ungayakiniku’s taste is much better than bottom one in a picture.
