剣道部団体リーグ戦(1月) Yamaha Kendo club team competition in Jan

ヤマハ剣道部では、毎年A～Dの4つのチームを作り団体リーグ戦を行っているんだそうです。
毎月最終日曜日にリーグ戦が行われ、その月の優勝チームを決めます。
1月は本日が最終日曜日という事で1月の団体戦が行われました。
ちなみにワシはDチーム。キャプテンは2刀流、全日本女子に出場した事のある上段の女性もいます。
で、結果は我がDチームが1月の優勝チームとなりました。
ワシも女性とインドネシア人の方と対戦させて頂き、どちらもコテ2本で勝利！
部内リーグとは言え試合なんて20年振りよ。疲れたぁ～。
でも、やっぱ勝つと嬉しいね。

At Yamaha Kendo club, we divide all members to 4 teams, from A to D team, and doing team competition every year.

The competition is held on last Sunday every month and we will decide the champion of the month.

In Jan, today was the last Sunday so we had the January competition today and I'm D team this year.

Our captain is 2 sword fencing user and also we have very strong lady, entering all Japan kendo ladies cup some years ago, and her style is raise sword over head.

So today, our team could be January champion.

Also I had match with a lady and an Indonesian guy and happily I could win with them by hitting hand part.

It is in Yamaha Kendo club competition but you know, the match is an interval of 20 years for me.

It was so tired but you know, it was really good feeling when I could win and hit. 

Kendo so nice!!!!!!

飲み会

昨日28日は静岡県袋井市の”ひょうたん”という居酒屋で飲み会。
同じ会社ですが楽器の生産部の若い子達と飲みました。
嫁が生産部なので、その繋がりです。若い子はまだ24歳くらいで
歳が15歳近く違うみたい・・・。ワシはまだオジさんじゃなぁ～いっ！

Yesterday 28^th, we had party at “Izakaya” whose name is “Hyotan” in Fukuroi city.

All members are same company but they are younger than me and working at music instrument producing department.

My wife is working at the department so it was the relationship.

The youngest girl was about 24 years old so we have 15 years difference.

Oh~~No!!!! I’m still enough young! Not middle age!

痛い！ Painful!

昨年12月から20年振りに剣道を再開しましたが、毎回稽古に行く度に
痛い所が出来ますわ。
毎週火曜日には稽古に行くようにしてて、昨日の稽古では足の皮が
浮いてしまいました。皮が破れてないので中に水が溜まってるんのよ。
これが何とも痛いんよ～。解るかな～？解らないだろ～な～!!!
赤くなっているところが水の溜まってる個所です。イテ～～っ！

From last Dec, I re-started Kendo but every time when I go to Kendo training, I always get something pain in my body.

I’m going the training every Tuesday and at yesterday training, my bottom of leg skin was came off but it is still not torn so water is accumulated in my leg.

You know, it is so painful. Can you understand the pain..? You may not understand it.

You may see red part in my bottom of leg.

In the part, water is accumulating. So painful!

眼鏡 Eyeglass

ワシら夫婦は非常に目が良くて、2人とも常時1.0以上が確実。
だから嫁さんは眼鏡という物への憧れが有り、常々
「目が悪くなれば眼鏡をかけれるのに～。」とアホな事を言ってるほど。
そこで、PC他のブルーライトを軽減する眼鏡が有る事を教えてやったら
歓び勇んで本日”J！NS”というメガネ店へ行き￥3,990でご購入！
勿論視力は全くもって良いので度は入ってません。
ちなみに嫁が風呂に入ってる間にコッソリ内緒でかけてみました。
こんな感じの眼鏡です。

I and my wife have very good eyesight so we have always more than 1.0 vision at eyes test so my wife hankers to eyeglass because she has never bought eyeglass.

So she always said “if she became poor eyesight, she could wear eyeglass”.

Don’t you think she is foolish?

So I have told her there is glass which can cut blue light of PC and etc so today, we went to eyeglass shop “J！NS” and she bought the glass by JPY3,990 with really happy feeling.

You know, her eyesight is really good so of cause, the glass doesn’t have glass power.

By the way, during she is taking bath, I have tried the glass to her secretly.

初雪 First snow of this season

今朝、初雪が降りました！
静岡県は温暖で、雪が降るのは非常に珍しい。
ワシも掛川に来て間もなく6年になるけど、今日で2回目よ。
去年からずっと雨が降って無くて40日以上雨知らずだったんだけど
今朝いきなり雪ですわ！
北海道の人から見ると、「こんな程度で」って思うでしょうが、静岡県民は
大喜びでした。お～寒っ！

This morning, we had first snow this season.

You know, Shizuoka is kind of warm area so having snow is very rare.

I have been living in Kakegawa city for almost 6years but today is second time snow.

From last year, we didn’t have rain over 40days but this morning, suddenly snow was coming.

I think Hokkaido people will think “such a small amount of snow!” but for Shizuoka people, this is very pleased present for them.

Uh~~m so so cold today!

ミオちゃん Mio-chan

7日、京都でトロントから帰国中の祐子と娘のミオちゃんに会いました。
去年の5月に会った時は全ての表現を「ダァダッ」でしていたミオちゃんですが、
子供の成長と言うのは早い物で、今回は「ママ見て～」とか「ミオちゃん食べる～。」等々
しっかり日本語話してましたぜ。
トロントで一緒に遊んでいた時は、皆で祐子をリトルプリンセスって
呼んでたけど、今はミオちゃんがリトルプリンセスやわ～。
5月には2人目が産まれるそうでミオちゃんも、もう直ぐお姉さんやね。

On 7^th, I met Yuko, coming back from Toronto now, and her daughter Mio-chan in Kyoto.

When I met Mio-chan last May, her all words were only “dahda” but this time she said by Japanese “Mom please look!” or “Mio-chan want to eat” and etc, she could speak Japanese very well.

8 month before, she could speak nothing words but now she can.

I was really surprised how fast kids growing up.

You know when I was in Toronto, we called Yuko “little princes” because she was the youngest friends in our group but now Mio-chan is “little princes”.

She is really cute, right?

Next may, second baby will be coming so Mio-chan will become elder sister soon.

久保田 "Kubota"

やはり正月は日本酒ですな～。
普段はビールか焼酎ですが、正月は1年間神棚に上げていた
日本酒を頂きます。
1年物の久保田の碧寿。1年間も放置していたので味はどうかな？と
思いましたが、やはり良い酒は違いますな。
本当にまろやかですわ。

Normally I drink beer or Soju but New Year day, I drink Sake which was being raised to the household Shinto altar for one year.
So this is one year old “Kubota Hekiju”.
I’ve settled for one year so I little worry about the taste changing but you know good Sake is perfect, nothing worse!
The taste is really mild and smooth.

2012元旦 A Happy New Year 2012！

2012年1月1日！
去年は地震が有ったり、なでしこが優勝したりでしたが今年はどんな年になるでしょうか。
健康第一！怪我無く、病気の無い一年にしたいと思います。

A Happy New Year!

New Year 2012 is coming today!

Last year, we had big earthquake.

It was so sad and hard experience but the other hand we also had great news.

It is female soccer team, Nadeshiko Japan, won and could be champion at FIFA world cup soccer competition.

I don’t know how going 2012 is but you know, the most important thing is healthy life.
I think nothing more important than healthy but also money is important too though.

I want to live this year with no injure and no disease.

Any way, You may know Mt Fuji, right?

It is very happy symbol for New Year for Japanese so I’ll show you!
