静岡県は温暖で、雪が降るのは非常に珍しい。
ワシも掛川に来て間もなく6年になるけど、今日で2回目よ。
去年からずっと雨が降って無くて40日以上雨知らずだったんだけど
今朝いきなり雪ですわ！
北海道の人から見ると、「こんな程度で」って思うでしょうが、静岡県民は
大喜びでした。お～寒っ！
This morning, we had first snow this season.
You know, Shizuoka is kind of warm area so having snow is very rare.
I have been living in Kakegawa city for almost 6years but today is second time snow.
From last year, we didn’t have rain over 40days but this morning, suddenly snow was coming.
I think Hokkaido people will think “such a small amount of snow!” but for Shizuoka people, this is very pleased present for them.
Uh~~m so so cold today!

i didn't know that it's very hard to get snow in shizuoka, because i simply thought Mt.Fuji has snow on the top most of tme. kk.

でも私も京都にいた時に雪がこの程度でさえ降ってたら喜んでるわ。ところかわれば…ですな。こちらも今年は雪は少ないです。

Anyway, do you know how high Mt Fuji is?
It is 3,776m so it must have snow in winter but flat ground in Shizuoka city area, we don’t have it.

北海道岩見沢市では180cmを超える雪が降っているらしいです。
静岡の雪なんて「こんなもん！」だよね。
トロントも雪が少ないんかぁ～。
