嫁の活花 Wife's flower arrangement

今年も嫁が会社のアクティビティーで活花を作って来ました。
今年のは竹も入っていてお正月っぽいね。
ま、こんだけ色々刺せばそれなりに見れる様になるわな。

This year also my wife made flower arrangement by company activity.

This year’s arrangement has bamboo so it has New Year mood.

Anyway, if people use this amount of flowers, everybody can make it nice. 

ホームパーティー Home party

さて今年もあと僅か。年賀状は出しましたかね？
ワシは昨日朝投函しましたので元旦に届くはず？？？

昨日は、会社の仲間を我家に招いてホームパーティーをしましたぜ。
平日じゃん！ってそうです。平日なんです。
真ん中のメガネの太っちょの彼、現在北海道のグループ会社に出向中で
年に数回しか浜松に帰って来ません。
今回も名古屋に着いた足で来てもらいました。
こんなとぼけた顔してますが東京大学卒業。ってホントかね？

右の青い服の可愛い子ちゃんは、大阪大学院卒だってよ。
色々焼酎を出したんだけど、「焼酎飲むの初めてですぅ～。」って可愛いな。おぃ～（笑！
まぁ、そんな訳で高学歴のお友達ですが、学歴なんて関係ねーぜ！
俺が一番年上だ！

We only have few more days for New Year.

I’ve sent them yesterday morning so they must be arrive to friends on 1^st Jan.

Yesterday, I invited colleagues and had home party.

It’s weekday! Yes, weekday.

Little fat guy in center wearing glasses is working at Yamaha group company in Hokkaido so he can come back to Hamamatsu only few times in year.

This time, also he directly came from Nagoya airport.

He looks nuts but actually he’s graduated Tokyo University.

I always doubt it.

The right side sweet lady wearing blue clothes is graduated Osaka postgraduate school.

I’ve served them some type of Shochu but she’s never drunk Shochu in her life so she said “this is first time to drink shochu”.

Oh~~ so sweet~~!

Anyway, they are very high an academic background friends but you know, I don’t care academic background!

I AM The Eldest!!!!

北海道ラーメン Hokkaido Ramen

オラが故郷北海道は海産物が有名なのは勿論ですが、ラーメンも超有名。
家庭でも有名店のラーメンが食べれる様に、色々な店がお持ち帰りパックを
販売してるのです。

そんな訳で地元のお友達 篤子さんが、色々なラーメン店のパックを送ってくれました。
天金、よし乃、山頭火は旭川の超有名店。
でも、今回あっちゃんのイチオシは札幌の一幻だそうです。
エビから出汁を抽出していて、店ではかなり美味かったらしく送ってくれました。
楽しみ～っ！

My home area Hokkaido is of cause famous for seafood but also famous for ramen.

Lots of famous ramen restaurants are selling their noodle and soup packages for people can cook at their houses.

So my friend Atsuko-san in Hokkaido sent me some ramen restaurant packages to me.

“Tenkin”, “Yoshino” and “Santoka” are very famous in my home town Asahikawa city.

But this time, Acchan’s NO1 recommendation is restaurant “Ichigen” in Sapporo city.

Their soup was extracted from shrimp and in the restaurant, the taste was fantastic so she sent me as gift.

It is really expect a lot!

どもども欧州から帰って来て1週間が経ち、何とか体の調子も戻って来ました。
一昨日はしばらく振りに剣道の稽古にも行って心身共にリフレッシュ。
剣道ってのは、稽古に行く前は面倒臭くて行きたくないんだけど、やり始めると
楽しいんだよ。
運動するとグッスリ眠れるしね。
もう少し真面目に稽古行かなければと思うこの頃です。

さて、今回はスイスのホテルで見つけた電化製品を紹介します。

Hello! One week has been going since back from Europe and my condition is perfectly getting back.

The day before yesterday, I went to Kendo training and I could refresh my mind and body.

I can’t be very bothered to go to Kendo training before leaving house but if I started the training, it is very fun of me.

And I can sleep well after exercise.

Nowadays, I feel I should go to Kendo training more often. 

By the way, this time I would like to introduce electric machine which I found at hotel in Swiss. 

欧州色々 Etc in Europe

そんな訳で今回訪問した街や風景を気ままに撮影してみました。

それにしても今回の時差ボケは酷いわ～。
2日（月）は電話で話するだけで息切れがする程。2日午後半休と翌日の3日も
休みを貰ったんだが、3日は15時間位寝たわ。
お陰さまで今日からはそこそこに戻ったけど酒の飲み過ぎで胃が荒れてる。
本調子に戻るにはもうしばらくかかりそう。

I’ve taken pictures downtown, I visited this time, and scenery as I like.

Anyway, this time I got hard jet lag.

On 2^nd(Mon), I was getting out of breath even only talking on telephone so I got day off on 2^nd PM and whole day on 3^rd and I slept about 15 hours on 3^rd.

Maybe the long sleeping was effect me, from today I health condition is getting better but nowadays I drank too much so my stomach condition is not good.

I need some more days for recover everything.

ストライキ Strike in Paris

29日　パリ発8：55　LH1027でフランクフルトへ行き、その後ANA便へ乗り換え羽田へ帰る予定。
だがっ！朝パリ空港に着いてビックリ!!!　
ルフトハンザ（LH)の全便がキャンセルになっている・・・・・。
「何や、こりゃぁぁぁ～っ！マジかぁ～～～。」
まさかのルフトハンザ　フランスがストライキ！
おいおい、どうなっちゃうの、俺は。帰れないって事なのか!?

何はともあれLHカウンターへ行くと、全便キャンセルだから下のブリュッセル航空（SN）の
カウンターへ行け。と言われ行ってみると、SNの客が先で空席があれば手続きする。との事。
それにしたってベルギーなんか行ってたら絶対フランクフルト発の羽田便に間に合わない。
並ぶ事30分、搭乗手続きは出来ないからLHの隠れカウンターへ行け。との事。
”どこやねん！それっ！”
これはイカンと、日本の旅行代理店へ電話し状況を説明。
担当者の話では羽田便にはもう間に合いません。
20時発のパリ⇒成田直行便にするか、11時パリ発⇒チューリッヒ（ZRH）⇒成田30日8：55着の
スイス航空（LX）に切り替える様にしますが、そちらでも引き続き手続きを続けて下さい。
との事。

その後LH隠れカウンターで順番がやって来てLX便　ZRH経由で成田への便でブッキング手続きを
してもらい、そのままLXカウンターへ移動し発券完了。
何はともあれ無事帰国出来ましたが、こんな事も有るんだなぁ。と貴重な経験をさせて
貰いました。ある意味ラッキーだったのかもしれませんな。

I was planning to depart from Paris to Frankfurt with LH1029 at AM8:55 and transfer to ANA airplane which goes to Haneda airport for back to Japan.

BUT! I was so surprised when I arrive at Paris airport in the morning.

All Lufthansa(LH) flights were canceled…..

“What is this? Is it true?”

It is real happening which LH France is doing strike.

Oh my God! What I should do and I may back to Japan or not?

Anyway, I cannot wasting time so I went to LH reception desk and LH person said today’s all flights are canceled so I should go to Brussel airline(SN) desk to get new seat so I went to there.

But SN staff said priority is SN’s passengers so if the flight has vacant sheet, I can get on.

OH my god!!! You know even if I can get the seat, if I go to Belgium, it is 100% impossible to get ANA flight at Frankfurt, going to Haneda.

I have waited for 30 minutes at SN counter desk but I couldn’t get seat so SN staff said there is hiding LH reception desk so I should go there.

“What!!! Hiding desk!! Where is it!”

The situation is not well going so I made phone call to Japanese tour office and explained the situation.

She said already I cannot catch ANA flight at Frankfurt so I should change to direct flight from Paris to Narita airport departing on PM20:00 or Swiss airline(CX) departing on AM11:00 via Zurich(ZRH) and arriving at Narita at AM8:55 on 30^th.

She will try to make booking one of them in Japan but she also asking me to continue booking procedure at Paris too so I continued to stay on the line.

And then my turn was coming at LH hiding reception desk and I could book CX flight, going to Narita via ZRH and moving to CX counter for issuing my ticket so finally I could solve this problem and completed.

Anyway, I could back to Japan safely so it was really special experience for me.

You know, maybe I was kind of lucky because it is very rare case to hit air plane strike, right?

世界遺産ベルニナ急行 UNESCO World Heritage "Bernina Express"

出張で欧州来てま～す！
今回は鉄道移動が結構多い。今までこっちで鉄道なんて乗った事無いんで
メチャクチャ不安・・・・。
鉄道を乗り継いで、山間鉄道に乗る事20分。車内放送で世界遺産という言葉が
聞こえて来た。何が世界遺産なのか解らないが景色は確かにかなり良い。
何が何だか解らないまま下車し後日調べてみたら、私が乗ったのは「ベルニナ急行」。
この山間鉄道が世界遺産だった様です。

I’m coming Europe!

This time, I have many chances to use train.

I haven’t had experience to get on train in here so I’m really nervous.

I transfer trains some times and I could get on train which goes between mountain and 20 minutes going.

I could hear a words “UNESCO World Heritage” from the train announcement.

Actually the scenery is quite good but I couldn’t understand what point is the World Heritage.

I got off the train and I still didn’t understand why it is World Heritage and some days after, I checked it and could know the train which I got on was “Bernina Express”.

This mountain train itself was the World Heritage.

2年ぶり？ Interval of 2 years?

出張で東京へ行きましたので、久し振りに紘子ちゃんと夕食。
元気で相変わらずって感じ。
今年は、ミン、紘子ちゃんに会えたし、ユラから電話も来たし
割とトロント率の高い年になりましたな～。

で、彼女の望む旦那さんの海外転勤は全く無しだって。
でも、旦那は会社で昇進したそうで。
おめでとう！

I stopped at Tokyo on the way of business trip and had dinner with Hiroko-chan a long separation.

She was really fine and not changing anything.

This year, I could meet Min, Hiroko and talked with Youra on the phone so I could have chances to meet friends, I met in Toronto.

And she said her husband couldn’t have chance oversea transference because he could get promotion.

Only for her, it is not good but for them I think it is very nice thing, right?

群馬 Gunma prefecture

どもども～！しばらく更新してませんでしたが、昨日から群馬県高崎市へ
1泊2日で行って来ました！
行きはバスで渋谷まで行き、その後JRで高崎までの旅路。
渋谷に着きふと人生初の渋谷という事に気付きハチ公を撮影。
ハリウッド映画の影響だと思いますが、外国人が列をなしてハチ公像と
写真を撮ってました。

Hello! I’ve not update for long but I’ve gone Takasaki city in Gunma prefecture with one night 2days.

For going way, I used high way bus till Shibuya and after that, I went to Takasaki city by JR.

When I reached Shibuya, I realized this is first time coming to Shibuya so I took a picture bronze statue “Hachi”.

I think because of Hollywood movie, lots of foreigners were taking pictures with the Hachi.

で、高崎駅前で写真撮影。And I took a picture in front of Takasaki station.

で、今回初めて知ったんだけど、ヤマダ電機の本社って
高崎駅東口に有るって事で、こちらヤマダ電機本社です。
他のヤマ電とは比べ物にならない程店員さんが溢れてましたわ。
サスガ本社って感じでした。

I could know this time headquarters of Yamada electric is located in front of east exit at JR Takasaki city and this is the building.

In there, lots of staffs were working and it is absolutely much more than other shops.

I could feel it is indeed Yamada headquarters.

芋焼酎色々！ Potato shochu etc

どもども～っ！ワシです。
前の投稿で「赤霧島」をゲットした事お知らせしましたが、
更に美味しい焼酎は無いかと探していたところ。
面白いYoutube動画を見つけて写真の3本を購入。
右が「赤兎馬」、中央が「伊佐大泉」、左が「赤薩摩」。
紫芋を使っている赤霧島と赤薩摩。本当はどちらが美味しいのか
知りたくて「赤薩摩」を購入。
これ、マジで美味いわ。ホントまるで薩摩芋を食べているかの様な風味と味わい。
ワシが言っているYoutube動画を見たい人は
赤薩摩で検索すると、関西の誰だか知らない2人が赤霧と赤薩摩の
飲み比べをしている動画を見つけられると思います。
年末の我が家での飲み会で同じ様に呑み比べしたいと思います！

Hello! It’s me!

In previous update, I told you I could get “Red Kirishima” but I keep researching if there is more delicious shochu or not.

Then I’ve found funny Youtube movie and I’ve bought 3 bottle of new brand of shochu.

From right side “Sekitoba”, center “Isataisen” and left side “Red Satsuma”.

“Red Kirishima” and “Red Satsuma” are made from purple potato.

I curious about which is more delicious so I bought red Satsuma too!

You know this “Red Satsuma” is really delicious!

I felt like a really eating sweet potato because of the smell and flavor.

If you want to watch my mentioning Youtube movie, you may find and retrieve with keyword “赤薩摩” and you may watch 2 people, stranger of me, are saying their opinions.

End of this year, I’ll have party in my house so I’ll serve to coming people both shochu “Red Kirishima” and “Red Satsuma” and I want to hear their opinion which is more delicious for them.

赤霧島ゲーーットっ！ Red Kirishima GEーーTっ！

やったぜ～～～っ！
赤霧島3本確保！
赤霧島って知ってるか？紫芋「ムラサキマサリ」を原料とした芋焼酎なんだが、
半年に一度しか販売しない限定品。
しかも、超人気で酒屋を始めとする取扱店は全く店頭に並べない。
赤霧島有りますか？って聞いて初めて渋々奥から1本だけ出して来るって代物。
今回は10月9日に出荷開始で3軒の酒屋他を渡り歩き手に入れました。
正直、一度も飲んだ事無いけど嫁の父ちゃんが「赤霧は美味いで～。」って
言ってたのでそれを信じて買ってみました。
大体が定価￥1,230なのにネットで￥2,000前後で売られてるってどういう事やねんっ！
年末に会社の仲間と飲み会するので、そん時に飲ませてやるか。

I could get 3 bottles of Red Kirishima!

Do you know Red Kirishima? It is potato shochu, distilled liquor, and made from purple potato “Murasakimasari” and only once a half year, it will be sold.

It is kind of limited product and it is very very popular in Japan so most of liquor store doesn’t exposure this in their showcase.

So I have to ask shop clerk “Do you have Red Kirishima?” and after my asking, he’s gonna unwillingly bring this from backyard stock only one bottle.

This time, it was released on 9^th Oct so I went to 3 liquor shops, the other and finally I could get these 3 bottles of Red Kirishima.

Actually, I’ve never tasted this liquor but my father in low said “Red Kirishima is really tasty” so I believe his comment and bought these.

You know, even though this liquor’s list price is JPY1,230, it is selling about JPY2,000 in web site.

Can you believe this? But it is true!

Anyway, end of this year, my co-worker will be coming my house and we are going to have a small party so the time, I’ll serve one bottle.

What a good person I am! You totally agree, right?

夕食 Dinner

雲見温泉での夕食を動画撮影しました。
写真だけだと声とか解らないからね。ミンは元気でしたぜ。
ちょっと太ったかもしれんが。
彼は、今日静岡空港から無事帰国しました。
今週水曜日から7日間今度はシカゴに遊びに行くらしい。勉強しろよ！

さて、今朝の我が家での出来事。
朝食中に携帯電話が鳴り、見てみると送信元は、これまたトロントでルームメイトだった
韓国人のユラ。
話をするのは2年振りかな。「教会の関係で千葉に来ているので電話した。」って。
で、丁度ミンが居たので彼に電話を換わって少々お話。
で、再度俺に換わり「マンション買ったから遊びに来いよ。温泉も連れて行きたいし」って言ったら
そう、じゃ　ちょっとミンと話ししたいからもう一度換わってくれ。って。
再度ミンと少々お話。
で、再度ワシに換わったらユラが
「ミンが、お前の家はクソだって言ってるわ。だから、そのクソハウスその内見に行くわ。」
だってよ。大爆笑！
何でもいいから早く来いっつーの！
さすが我が最愛の友ユラ。ほんまオモロイわ～。来たら大歓迎してやるよ！

I’ve taken movie of dinner at Kumomi hot spring.

You may want to hear Min’s vice, right? He is fine but looks little bit gaining weight.

He could leave safely from Shizuoka airport today.

And he said he will go to Chicago from this Wednesday for 7 days.

I think he should study hard!

Anyway, this is a story in my house on breakfast.

When we are taking breakfast, my cell phone was ringing and Youra who is my Korean roommate in Toronto was calling.

I think maybe it is after an interval of 2 years talking with her.

She said “now, she is coming in Chiba prefecture for church program so she made me phone call”.

Min was staying my house so I changed the phone to him and talking a little.

After that, I talked with Youra again and I said “I’ve bought new house so please visit my house and I want to take you hot spring too”.

She said “OK, she wants to know about my house so please change this phone to Min again”.

And she has talked a little while with Min again and he pass me the phone call.

And she said! “Min said your house is sucks! So she will visit to see the sucks house! OK?”.

It is very funny for me!

I know her very well and we could laugh a lot with her joking.

You know, I don’t care about any reason for she’s coming to come my house!

I really want to invite her soon and she should come.

She is the my closest and lovely friend, Youra, she is so funny and I love you!

When you coming my house, I really welcome you!

さてさて昨日から雲見温泉に1泊2日で行って来ました。
今回は嫁とでは無く、男2人旅。
さて、この人誰でしょうか？トロントでワシと一緒だった人は解りますよね？

I went to Kumomi hot spring from yesterday with1 night and 2days.

This time was not with wife. It is 2 guys tour.

Anyway, do you know who this guy is?

秋祭り Autumn festival

以前このブログでも紹介してますが、静岡県西部地区はとにかく秋祭りが盛んなのです。
掛川ではデッカイ獅子舞が市中を行脚してましたが、昨日から磐田では山車が町内を
回ってました。太鼓と笛の音、そして人々の掛け声。
地元の人は楽しいのでしょうが・・・。よそ者にとっては・・・。

そんな訳でやって来た山車を我が家のベランダから撮影しました。

As I’ve already introduced before, autumn festival is very well doing in west area in Shizuoka.

At Kakegawa city, big lion dance was working through downtown and since yesterday, float has been going around in Iwata city with Japanese drum, flute sounds and people’s call.

It is must be fun for people who was born in here but for us who come from other area, it is not so fun actually.

Anyway, the float was coming so I took the picture from my balcony.

藤次郎プロ Tojiro-puro

どもども～、お久し振りです。
ワシも間もなく40歳。悲しいかな人生の半分が終了してます。
以前までは質より量！って感じで安い物を求めていましたが、最近は
高くても良いから、ちゃんとした物を食べたり、飲んだり、使いたいと
思う様になりました。
そこで今回購入したのが包丁です。
藤次郎プロ牛刀F-1031！ナントっ！定価￥24,000です。
ホームセンターに行けば￥3,000以下で包丁なんか何ぼでも売ってますが
物が違います。スパスパ切れるはずっ！
この包丁は、嫁の両親からの引越祝で買わせてもらいました。
父ちゃん、母ちゃん有難う。大事に使わせてもらいます。

Hello! Little long time, I didn’t update this blog.

Anyway, I will be 40 years old shortly.

It is sad thing but actually half of my life was already finished.

I was making much of amount more than quality when I chose products or foods so always trying to find cheap products but nowadays, I changed my mind, even though it is little expensive, I would like to use, eat and drink good products.

So this time, I bought is kitchen knife, Tojiro-Puro chef knife F-1031!

Say, the list price is JPY24,000.

If I go to home center, I could find lots of kitchen knives whose price less than JPY3,000 but this knife is absolutely different with the kind of cheap knives.

This may cut everything really smoothly!

I’ve bought this knife with housewarming from my wife’s parents.

Thank you father and mother in low and we will treasure this. 

全国デビュー national debut in Japan

どもども～！9月になりやっと涼しくなって来たね～。
ワシは朝の寒さに耐え切れずニトリ2枚合わせ布団を投入してまっせ！
さて今回ご紹介するのは我が家の嫁。

Hello! Sep is coming and becoming cooler now.

I couldn’t endure the cold in the morning so I’ve been already using double layer feather quilt.

Anyway, this time what I would like to introduce you is my wife.

She was on NHK TV show “design A” and it is national broadcast in Japan.

Please notice 2 minute point and person who standing left side of grand piano is my wife.

People, who know my wife could be awake but the other people, please through this. 

久能山東照宮 Kunozan Toshogu

台風18号来てますな。風がキツイわ～。
さてさて、一昨日から我が家に嫁の両親が遊びに来てくれてます。
そんな訳で静岡観光～。って雨～・・・。かと思いきやっ!?
何故かワシらが車を降りて観光し始めると雨が止む。
おいおいマジかっ！
母ちゃん曰く「晴れ女」。にしても神がかってるわっ！
写真は久能山東照宮。徳川家康の御廟です。実は日光東照宮が
有名ですが、実際に家康が亡くなった翌日に埋葬されたのはこの久能山東照宮。
こっちが本家本元！静岡遊びに来てや～！

Typhoon 18th is coming! Winds are so strong.

Anyway, my parents in low have been coming to my house since the day before yesterday.

So we wanted to go sightseeing in Shizuoka but raining….

I thought it is not good day for going around tour BUT!?

Somehow when we get off car and starting tour, the rain was stop.

Wow Wow!!! It’s amazing!

Mother in low said she is “fair weather women” but it is really unbelievable.

I took a picture in front of “Kunozan Toshogu” which is grave of Ieyasu Tokugawa.

You may well know “Nikko Toshogu” and it is a very famous temple but in fact, he was buried in this temple next day of his last day.

This temple is the real original “Toshogu”!

Please come to Shizuoka and visit my house!

ゲリラ豪雨！ Guerrilla Downpour!

いや～、2020年夏季オリンピック東京開催決定!!!!!
やりましたなぁ。これで景気回復の足がかりとなってくれると良いんだが。
ところで、今朝は雨と雷がセットの強力なゲリラ豪雨。
雨はザーザー降ってるし、雷もバババァアーーーンっ！って凄いの何のってよ。
寝てられるかっ!!
おかげで開催地発表Liveで見れましたよ～。

Hi everybody! Tokyo was chose as summer Olympic city in 2020 this morning!!!!

It’s a great news, right? I hope Japanese business situation will be getting better.

Anyway, this morning, we had hard rain and thunder lightning which we call guerrilla downpour.

Of cause rain was so hard but also thunder lightning sound is “BaaBaannn!!!!!”.

It’s a really noisy so I couldn’t keep sleeping.

But because of the weather, I could watch TV of the Olympic city publication in live.

岐阜出張 Business trip to Gifu

本日は岐阜県関市へ日帰り出張です。
行くまで知らなかったんだけど、関市は刃物で世界的に有名らしい。
昔は日本刀を作っていたが、今は包丁を日本国内は勿論海外へも
バンバン輸出してるんだってよ。
包丁って言うと大阪堺ってイメージが強いけど関市もスゴイらしい。
さてさて、そんな訳で刀匠の神様を祭っている春日神社へ行って来ました。

Today, I’m coming to Seki city in Gifu prefecture for one day business trip.

I haven’t known till coming here, Seki city is very famous in the world about knife.

Long time ago, people were making Japanese sword but now they are producing knives and not only domestic but also exporting the knives a lot.

When I image a knife, I visualize Sakai city in Osaka but Seki city is also said very popular for knife.

Anyway, I took a picture in front of Kasuga shrine which enshrines god of sword smith. 

珍客 Unexpected visitor

朝　岐阜出張の準備をしていたら、嫁の「うぁぁぁ～っ！　何ぃぃ～っ！」という悲鳴。
急いで駆け付けると網戸に鳥がへばり付いている。
しかも、かなり体力が無さ気で徐々に下へ下へと落ちて行く・・・・。
おいっ！まさか病気っ!?
見る見る内に落ちて行きベランダの端へと移動。
嫁曰く「そこで寝るだけならOK。でも絶対にそこでは死ぬなよ!!!!!」
そんな彼の写真を撮影。スズメでは無いね。
嫁が出勤後15分程度寝た彼は元気良く飛び立って行きました。
きっと昨日夜遊びし過ぎたんだろうね。
寝るだけなら、何時来てくれても良いよ。
まぁ、何にせよ元気で良かった良かった。

This morning, when I was reading for business trip to Gifu, my wife was screaming “Uhwaaaa~! What you are~~~っ！”

So I running to her place and I could see a bird flatten oneself against the screen door.

He looks really not have enough energy and going down bit by bit.

He was falling down bit by bit and moving to side of balcony.

My wife said “if you are taking nap, it is fine but she never accept you die at my balcony!!!!”.

I took his picture. He is not sparrow, right?

After my wife going job, he took nap about 15 minutes and leave my house lively.

I think he may play too much overnight yesterday.

You may come my house any time if you want for taking nap only and I always welcome you.

Anyway, he is fine so it is really good .

極小 Quite small

我が家のゴーヤのあまりの小ささに我慢出来ず、完熟しオレンジ色になるまで
放置して、成長の限界を確認してみました。
こんだけ熟してもこのサイズ・・・。
完全に戦意喪失しました。きっと実が大きくならない種類なんだと諦めたよ。
肥料は残っていますが来年の苗の為に取って置く事にします。
これにて今年のゴーヤ菜園終了～。

I couldn’t endure too small size of bitter melon in my kitchen garden so I wait it will be orange color to fully ripen and I confirmed their maximum size.

You may see these bitter melons in picture.

They are fully ripened and will not be bigger any more.

I completely gave up.

I think my Go-ya was one of species which will not be big.

I still have manure but I will keep it for next year.

So my kitchen garden in this year is over.

虹 Rainbow

今日も暑かったなぁ～。
夏休みも終わり出勤前は憂鬱な気分・・・でも、明け方に雨が降ったせいで
綺麗な虹が出てよ～。
ようしっ！頑張るか～！って気になれたわ。ま、暇なんだけどね。
そんな訳で虹の写真を撮ってみました。

Today was also hot, right?
My summer vacation was finished and I was little blue before going to company today but beautiful rainbow was show up because of raining in the morning.
I could change my mind to work harder! But actually I'm not so busy.
So I took a picture of the rainbow. 

夏休み Summer Vacation

ブログのネタが無いな～。と思っていたら１月近くが経ってしまいました。
夏休みも今日で終わり。今日は景気良く昼間っからビール、焼酎飲み始めちゃってます！
さてさて、週末は大阪の嫁の実家に行って来ました。
最近、半沢直樹ってドラマ流行ってるよね～？
撮影現場が大阪駅前が多いので大阪行ったついでに写真撮って来ました。
知ってる人は知っている。知らない人はスルーして下さい。
半沢の勤務している東京中央銀行　西大阪支店とその前の歩道橋です。

I couldn’t find good topics for updating my blog so almost one month was going.

Today is final day of my summer vacation so now it is daytime though, I’m drinking beer and soju because I’m kind of cerebrating the final day.

Anyway, this weekend, I went to my wife’s home in Osaka.

Nowadays drama, Hanzawa Naoki, is very popular in Japan, right?

It is taken lots of photography spot in front of Osaka station so I also went to there and took pictures.  

If you know the place, please remember the scene in the drama but if you don’t know it, please just go through and ignore.

These pictures I took are Tokyo central bank west Osaka branch, Hanzawa Naoki working, and pedestrian bridge of in front of the bank.

初収穫！ First harvest!

受粉から２週間が経ったのでゴーヤの収穫を行いましたぜ！
しかぁ～しっ！小ぃさっ！
何なんだ？この小ささは？携帯電話がデカイわけではありません。
純粋にゴーヤが小さいのです。
肥料をやっても、このサイズから大きくならない・・・。何故、何故なんだぁぁぁっ！
予定では明日の朝食は、ゴーヤチャンプル～♪にしようと思っていたが
このサイズでは全然足りない・・・。
メニュー変更やむなし（残念）。

2 weeks were going from pollination so I’ve harvested bitter melons

BUT!!! You may know with this picture. They are so small!

What a small bitter melons they are!

The size is almost same with smart phone but the phone is not big.

Their size is really and truly small…..

As you know, I’ve given them enough manure but they couldn’t become big….

Why! Why! I want to know the reason!!!!

I’ve planned to eat by cooking them Go-Ya champru♪as tomorrow breakfast but I have to change my plan because of their size.

The size is too small so we cannot get enough amount of main dish so sad….

参議院選挙2013 House of Councilors election 2013

さてさて、皆さん選挙へは行きましたか？
税金を沢山払っているのですから必ず選挙へ行きましょう！
今回から私の選挙区は磐田市。
そんな訳で投票所の前で証拠写真撮影して来ました。
えっ？先週よりも太って無いか？って？
はい、北海道で美味しい物をたらふく食べたせいで確実に体重増えてると
思います。
それにしても北海道寒かったわ～。朝晩は半袖ではキツかった・・。

Hi guys! Did you go to vote today?

You know, we are paying lots of tax so we must go to vote!

From this time, my vote area is changed to Iwata city.

I took an evidence picture in front of vote place.

What? You think I look like gaining weight from last week?

Yes, you are right. I’ve eaten lots of delicious food in Hokkaido so I must gain weight.

Anyway, Hokkaido temperature was very low and I didn’t bring long sleeves so in the morning and at night was very chilly.

2ヶ月半 2 month and half

さてさて、ゴー君、ヤーちゃんの種植えから2ヶ月半です。
伸びに伸びて背丈はワシを超えました。
上の階へ行かない様に、これからは切らんといけませんな。

それにしても、暑いな～。連日35度超えってよ～・・・・。
でも、我が家は、まだエアコン動かしてないんよ。
風の抜けがハンパ無いもんで全然いけちゃってます。
明日から北海道出張です。涼しいかな～。

2 month and half have been going since sowing Go-kun and Ya-chan.

They are well growing so their height has already exceeded me.

From now on, I have to cut them to avoid going upstairs if they growing more and more.

Anyway, nowadays so hot! right?

Temperature of this week was over 35 degree every day.

BUT! In my house, I’ve still not used air conditioner.

My house, winds are well going through so we can be living with no air conditioner so far.

From tomorrow, I will go business trip to Hokkaido.

I hope there are cool enough.

雌花キターーーっ！ Female flower is coming!

遂に遂に本日、雌花が開花！
我がゴーヤ学園は、男子校なのか？と思った時期もありましたが、
無事マドンナ登場！
ゴー君、ヤーちゃん共に大きくなり過ぎて、雌花がどちらの子か解りませんが
とにかく2人共よくやった。そして早く大きくなぁれ！

Finally, finally this morning, female flower bloomed!

I little worry about my bitter melon school, only boys can apply to but today finally Madonna appeared.

Both of Go-kun and Ya-chan are too much well glowing so I don’t know she is whose girl but I really say to them “Good Job!”.

And I hope she’ll be soon bigger and bigger!

棕櫚（シュロ）？ Palm tree?

棕櫚って知ってるか？
2週間ほど前に鉄のフライパンを買いました。今まではテフロン加工のを使っていたんだが、
最初は良いが数か月すると徐々にコゲ付きが・・・・。
そんな訳で色々ネットで、どんなプライパンが良いのか調べた結果原点回帰よ。
鉄が一番良いという意見が多く、我が家もそれに従う事にしました。
でも、鉄フライパンは油を馴染ませなければならず洗剤はＮＧ。
となるとタワシが欲しい。ワシは100均で買えば良いと思ったのだが、嫁曰く
「ちゃんとしたタワシじゃないと駄目だ！」
で、嫁の希望がこれ。
棕櫚の細長いタワシ。ナント！送料込￥1,890ナリ～。
高いわっ！￥100均なら18個帰るぞっ！と思うが今まで経済して来たので
しばらくは嫁の希望に従おうかと思います。
こんなんでホントに役に立つんやろか？

Do you know Palm tree?

About 2 weeks ago, I bought iron flying pan.

I’ve used Teflon pan till I buying it.
At first , the Teflon is good for cooking but some month later, It will get some burning…. 

So I’ve checked in internet which pan is the best and the result is iron pan, like my parents used.

In the internet, I could find lots of comments that iron pan is the best so I’ve obeyed their opinion.

But I have to spread enough oil in the iron pan and we shouldn't use detergent to it.

If we cannot use detergent, we need scrubbing for washing it, right?

I’ve thought we can buy it in dollar shop but my wife said ”we need good scrubbing” and her selecting is this, long palm tree scrubbing.
The price is JPY1,890, including postage fee.

Don't you think it is too expensive?

If I went to dollar shop, I can buy 18pcs of normal scrubbing but till now, I've asked my wife saving money and she help me a lot so I should pick her opinion for a long, right...?

I worry about this scrubbing is really work well or not?

見つけたっ！ I've found!

知ってる人は多いと思いますが、ワシは北海道出身の北海道民。
どこの街にも有るのが、その土地だけで販売されている限定商品。
先週金曜日に、たまたま寄ったスーパーで北海道フェアを発見。
そこで見つけたのがこれ！
”キリン　ガラナ”！
これが正に北海道限定販売で若い頃から親しんだ味。
この思いがけない出会いに興奮し、思わず箱での大人買い。
正直、味はマズイので北海道民でも好んで飲む人は少ないです。
でも、誰が何と言おうと俺はこのマズさが好きなのです。

You may know I was born in Hokkaido and I’m Hokkaido people.

Most of city has special products which we can buy only limited area.

Last Friday, I found Hokkaido fair at super market, I stop at by chance.

And what I found is this!

“Kirin Guarana”!

This is the limited product in Hokkaido and I'm well know the taste because I've drunk very often since young age.

I was so exited this unexpected meeting and I bought a box of them.

In Japanese, we say it “Adult shopping”.

Honestly say the taste is not tasty so even Hokkaido people, it is few who willingly want to drink this.

BUT! I don’t care whatever people say, I really like this not tasty taste. 

なんで!? Ｗｈｙ!?

今週末は、大阪の嫁の実家に帰りました。
我が家の家庭菜園は、5月から順次アップしていますが、実は義父母もベランダ家庭菜園を
やっていてワシとはキャリアが違う。
ゴーヤは勿論だがキューリ、トマト他が、もう既に収穫期を迎えており正に鈴生り。
これが露地栽培なら確実にかっぱらわれてるレベル。
我が家のゴー君、ヤーちゃんは、まだ雌花すら付けて無いのに、嫁の実家では
これよ。
ちなみに、写真撮影は日曜早朝で前の晩に、この他に3本のゴーヤを収穫してます。
どんだけ生んねん。ゴーヤ！
晩飯では父ちゃん、母ちゃん酒呑みながらしたり顔やったわ～。
負けるな！ゴー君、ヤーちゃん！

This weekend, I visited my wife’s home in Osaka.

I’m introducing my kitchen garden from May in this blog but my parents-in-low are also doing it in balcony at their house and their skill is absolutely different with me.

They are growing not only bitter melon, cucumber, but also tomato and etc.

Now they are already meeting crop season and they are heavy with berry.

I think if they were doing kitchen garden at open field, their berries must be stolen.

You may know, my Go-kun and Ya-chan haven’t had even female flower yet but my wife’s house bitter melon is this.

You know, I took this picture early morning on Sunday but we ate three pieces of them for supper at Saturday night.

It is amazing yield of bitter melon.

At supper, I could see big proud on father and mother-in-low’s face.

Go! Go! Go-kun, Ya-chan! Don’t be late!

2ヵ月 the second month

ゴー君、ヤーちゃん順調に成長中！
今日で2ヵ月が経ちました。この調子でドンドン大きくなれっ！
まだ、実がなる兆しは無いけど夏になれば大豊作！のはず・・・。

Go-kun and Ya-chan is well growing up!

Today is the day of second month of them.

Let’s growing up more and more!

Looks they haven’t bear fruit yet but in summer, I must have good crop…maybe.

中国出張2013年6月 2013Jun Business trip in China

23日から中国出張。
今回は、初めて自力で上海の地下鉄を利用。
キップの買い方さえ解ってれば、全然使えるしとっても便利だよね。
そんな訳で23日は、移動日でしたので地下鉄を上海中心部で
途中下車し、人民広場の前で写真撮影。
まぁ～、特に変った物も無く大都会・・・。そりゃ上海だもんな。

I was on business trip to China from 23^rd.

This time, I’ve used Shanghai subway by myself as first experience.

If I know how to buy subway ticket, it is very useful for going to everywhere.

23^rd was settled as moving day so I’ve got off subway at center in Shanghai and took a picture in front of “Jinmin park”.

Shanghai is very big city so there are lots of buildings.

The meaning is nothing special for me….

You know, it is Shanghai.

咲いた!!! Bloom!!!

ゴー君やりました！
本日遂に、最初の花を咲かせてくれました。
こいつは、雄花なので実は生りませんが、オスが居るからメスが居る。
雌花もどんどん咲く事を期待して、2人の成長を見守りたいと思います。
ちなみに本日2回目の摘心をしましたよ。
素人でも結構やれるもんだと自画自賛です。

Go-kun did it!

Today, he finally blooms first flower.

This is male so he cannot bear fruit bitter melon but you know, because male exists so female can exist too.

I expect many female will appear soon and I want to follow their growth.

Anyway, today I’ve done second time thinning.

I’m beginner of kitchen garden but I think I’m doing good job and well caring them.

来たぜっ！アスパラ！ Asparagus is coming!

北海道の美味しい物。
そりゃ、蟹、ウニ、ホッケなどなどの海産物が色々有るけど、この時期に外せないのは
アスパラやトウキビ、ジャガイモ等の農産物よ～。
アスパラってスーパーで買うと高いんだよな～。
でも、北海道では生える、生えるぅ～（笑
あっちゃん！有難う！
悪友？”篤子さん”から、今日アスパラが大量に届きました！
アスパラ大好き！
アスパラって太い方が好き？それとも細い方？
俺は絶対細いのの先ッチョよ。

あぁ～、明日の朝飯が待て無いぃ・・・・。

There are lots of yummy foods in Hokkaido.

Crab, sea urchin and arabesque greenling are, of cause, famous sea food but in this season, we must check farm products too, Asparagus, corn, potato and etc.

You know if we buy asparagus in super market, it is very expensive.

3 pieces are about JPY100.

But in Hokkaido, they are well growing up!

My very nice bad friend “atsuko-san” has given me this amount of many asparaguses.

I love asparagus!

Do you like thin one or thick one?

I must choose thin asparagus and especially top part, I like.

Oh~~~, I cannot wait tomorrow breakfast…

45日目 the 45th day

種蒔きしてから、45日目の朝です。
彼らの将来に期待して、早くも先週肥料を豆乳！いやいや投入！
まぁ～、嫁の母ちゃんのアドバイスなんだけどね。（笑
今やワシは、この子達の親として多少の出費は惜しみません。
そんな訳で、エサ￥298なり～。

This morning is the 45^th day from sowing bitter melon.

I expect their great future so I already gave them manure last week.

Honestly say it is advice from mother in low.

Now I’m as their parent, I don’t grudge spending little money for them.

So the price of manure was JPY298.

で、彼らの成長は？というと。
こんな感じで、超イイ感じ！

現時点で既に￥3,000弱を出資してるので・・・。
30個は生ってくれないと・・・スーパーで買った方が安い。
でも誰が30個も食べれんねん。って話にもなるな・・。

And you may want to know how they growing up, right?

They are nicely getting bigger!

I’ve already spent almost JPY3,000 so otherwise they bear fruit at least 30 pieces, buying them in super market is cheaper.

But on the other hand, there is other problem.

If I could really get 30 pieces of bitter melon, who is going to eat as much as 30 piece?

ちょっと贅沢 Little luxury

今年でワシも40歳。
そろそろ、安酒をガブ飲みするのは卒業しないと体がもたない。
そんな訳で最近、ちょっとだけ高い焼酎を舐める様に飲んでます。
手始めに2種類、”閻魔”と”神の河”を買ってみましたが、ワシには
味の違いが良く解らなかった。
そんな訳で、100円ちょっと安い”神の河”でしばらくチビチビ楽しみたいと
思います。
それにしても、美味い焼酎は九州に集まってるなぁ～。

This year, I will be 40 years old.

You know, I don’t want to accept but truth is I’m already not young generation so I have to graduate to drink lots of cheap alcohol everyday because of my health condition.

So I started to drink little good shochu like licking it nowadays

I’ve bought 2 brands of shochu, “Enma” and “Kan-noko”, but I couldn’t recognize the taste difference of them so I’ll choose “Kan-noko” and want to enjoy drinking bit by bit.

Anyway, this time I could know afresh that really, most of tasty shochu is made at the Kyushu Island.

洗濯機 Wash machine

さぁ、新居に引っ越しをして最後の大物買い！
それは洗濯機！
今まで使っていた洗濯機は、大阪で中古で買った奴なので十分頑張ってくれました。
特に壊れた訳では無いけど、9年間働いてくれたので大満足で買い替えです。
で、我が家に本日来たのは、日立ビートウォシュＢＷ-7ＰＶ。
何時ものパターンで、新機種が出たので旧機種買い。
価格は4万円でした。
多分もう少し待てば3万5千円位まで下がったと思うのですが、今回は5千円の為に
もう数回電機屋に行くのが面倒に思ったので決めてしまいました。

This is the last shopping of house electrical appliances after moving new house.

That is Wash machine!

Wash machine, now I’m using, was bought in Osaka with used condition so it really well worked.

It is still fine but it has worked for over 9 years so I could buy new one with big satisfaction.

So today new wash machine was coming to my house and it is Hitachi Beat Wash BW-7PV.

New model was released so I’ve bought old model as usual.

The price was JPY40,000.

I think maybe if I could wait more some weeks, it will become about JPY5,000 cheaper but this time, I felt troublesome to go to electric shop some more times for getting JPY5,000 discount so I’ve decided buying.

1ヵ月 One month

さてさて、今日から6月スタート！
我が家のゴー君とヤーちゃんもスクスク育ち、もうちょっとでネットに届く所まで
成長してます。
園芸ネットの都合上、プランターを反転させたので手前がヤーちゃん、奥がゴー君に
入れ替わってます。
気付いた方も多いと思いますが、嫁のネギはご臨終！（笑）
我が家のベランダは、風が強いので立ってられなかった様です。

Everybody, Jun started from today.

My babies Go-kun and Ya-chan is well growing up and they may catch net soon.

I’ve turned planter for they can catch gardening net easily so Go-kun and Ya-chan’s place is changed.

Now, Ya-chan is left and Go-kun is right side.

You may be awake my wife’s leeks are passed away.

They couldn’t keep standing because strong wind is always blowing at my house porch.

黒竹 Black bamboo

3月にヤマハを退職された古木さん。
4月に退職祝いをさせて頂き、このブログでも紹介させて頂きました。
その古木さんから、新築祝いで黒竹を頂きました。
お正月に門松を飾ったりしますが、竹は、真直ぐ正しく成長するという事で
縁起が良いのです。
精神が若干曲がり気味の私には・・・・正に運気のアップしそうなアイテム。

ワシは初めて見ましたが名前の通り黒い竹。
これ非常に希少なんです。
竹って正に和って感じで、更に黒色ってカッコ良いよね～。

古木さん有難う御座います！
私の精神と共に真直ぐ育てます！
でも、ワシの歪んだ精神が勝って曲がっちゃったらゴメンナサイ・・・。

This Mar, Furuki-san retired Yamaha.

We had retirement party in Apr and I introduced it in this blog.

Today, he stopped at my house and gives me black bamboo as housewarming.

On New Year day, people adorn New Year’s decorative pine branches, right?

Bamboo is straightly and rightly growing so people think if we have bamboo, we can also growing up like a bamboo so it is lucky item in Japan.

You know, I think it will be really effective for me whose mind little bit devious.

This is first time for me to see black bamboo whose color is black as the name.

This is really rare item.

Bamboo has mood of Japanese style and also color of black makes cool level up!

Thank you Furuki-san!

I will grow up it straightly with my soul.

But if my devious soul effects his growth and he was growing up crookedly, please forgive me.

10日目 The 10th day

我が家のゴーヤのその後です。
何と！2人目が芽を出してくれ、しかも結構な速度でグングン成長してくれてます。
今後、ワシは手前の子をゴー君、奥の子をヤーちゃんと呼び日々の成長を
報告したいと思います。
で、プランターの脇に刺さっているのは、先日食べたネギの根を嫁が植えた物です。
プランター代を全く払って無いのに、ワシの家庭菜園に便乗してやがる。
恐るべし関西人の嫁!!!!

I would like to inform you about my bitter melon news.

Say! Second babe was coming up and she is well grown.

From now on, I will call front baby “Go-kun” and behind him “Ya-chan” because in Japanese, bitter melon is called “Go-Ya” and I want to report their growth.

And then, you may see green plant at side of my planter, right?

They are leek root, we ate some days before, and my wife planted them.

I want to tell you very important thing!

She has not paid any money for my planter but she started leek plant in there.

What a genius lady my wife is!

帯広出張 Business trip to Obihiro city

21日から1泊で北海道帯広市に出張。
気温は、20℃程度で思ったより寒く無く気持ちの良い季節でした。
喰い物は美味いし、景色は良いし、これからの北海道は最高だよな～。
そんな訳で帯広駅前で撮影しました。

I was on business trip to Obihiro city in Hokkaido from 21^st.

Temperature was about 20 degree so it was warmer than I expected and very nice season.

You know from this season, Hokkaido is meeting best season and food and scenery are nice as always.

So I took picture in front of Obihiro station.

で、帯広と言ったら？そう、豚丼だよね～！
勿論頂いて来ました！

And if you visit Obihiro-city, what you should eat?

Yes, It is big bowl of backed pork.

Of cause, I enjoyed it!

発芽 germination

今年からベランダで家庭菜園をやりたいと思っていたところに、タイミング良く
ゴーヤの種を頂きました。ラッキー！
プランターと土をホームセンターで￥1,000で購入し5/2に種植え。
しかし、それから毎日水をやっても全然芽が出ずヤキモキしていたんだが
やっと今日発芽！今年の夏はゴーヤ祭りや～っ！
で、待ちに待って出て来たゴーヤの芽を掲載します。

I wanted to start kitchen garden at porch from this year and the time, I was given bitter melon seed with good timing!

It’s so lucky!

I’ve bought planter and soil at home center with JPY1,000 and on 2^nd May, planted it.

BUT!!! Even though I give them enough water every day, they never come up.
And today finally one boy appeared!

I may be able to enjoy bitter melon in this summer a lot!

GW2013 Golden week 2013

はてさて、今年のGWは如何お過ごしですかな？
静岡県は、25℃程度まで気温が上がりTシャツでも全然OKな季節となってます。
我が家は、特に何もする事無く時間が流れ暇を持て余した末に
用も無いが近くの福田漁港に行ってみました。
福田漁港は、しらすが有名らしく、小さな港なので沢山の人では無いけど
丁度水揚げ、競りの最中でした。

How are you spending time in Golden Week this year?

In Shizuoka prefecture, temperature is going to about 25 degree so walking outside with T-shirts is OK now.

In my case, I don’t have anything to do and time is going.

We couldn’t endure this too much leisure so we went to Fukude fishing port, we don’t have any purpose at there though.

Fukude fishing port is little famous about whitebait and because of small port, not many people is coming but they are doing auction and unload the ship. 

で、休みの日にはスイーツが欲しくなりますので、近くのケーキ屋さん”シャトレーゼ”で
シュークリームを購入。1個　105円で味は特に普通。
なら書くなって？

And I bought cream puff at cake shop “Shateraise”, near from my house, with JPY105 per piece.

The taste is not bad but it was normal.

If the taste is normal, you think I don’t need introduce it, right?

ジンギスカン Jingisukan

オラが街の北海道では定番メニューのジンギスカン。
母ちゃんがクエン酸と一緒に送ってくれました。最近母ちゃんは、クエン酸にハマって
いるらしく健康に良いからワシにも飲めって事で送って来ました。

さて、本州の人達は羊肉は臭い！と言い食べようとしませんが、北海道のジンギスカンは
全く臭く無いのです。
こっちの人達は、最初疑って食べようとしませんが、実際に北海道のジンギスカンを
食べさせると、その美味さと臭みの無い事に驚きジンギスカンを大好きになって
くれます。そもそも北海道生まれのワシは臭い羊肉なんて食べた事無いよ。
届いたジンギスカン2種類有りますが、絶対に運河焼肉の方が美味いんよ。

In my home area, Hokkaido, “Jingisukan” is very popular food.

My mother has sent it to me with citric acid.

Nowadays, she is addicting the citric acid because she believes it is very good for health so she requests I also drink it.

Anyway, most of people, living in mainland of Japan, don’t want to eat “Jingisukan” because they believe mutton is a stink but Hokkaido “Jingiskan” is a completely not stink.

At first, even though I recommend them to eat it, they always doubt the smell and don’t want to eat but if they try it, everybody surprise the good taste, no stink and they become fan of “Jingisukan”.

I really want to say I’ve never eaten stink mutton in Hokkaido.

It is really tasty!

所詮はロボットだろ？的な感じの人が多いと思いますが、こいつスゴイっ！
ワシらが出勤した後に掃除をする様に設定して、リビング、キッチンを掃除して
もらってますが、マジで綺麗になってる。髪の毛とかも帰って来ると全然落ちて無い。
ダストボックスには、カーペット無くなるんちゃう？って位のゴミが入ってるんよ。
もし、購入を迷っている人がいるなら間違い無く買いでっせ！

He is really great!

I made setting he will automatically clean living and kitchen after we go out to job.

When we back to my house, we cannot find any dust and even hair so he is really cleaning up well.

After his cleaning, I open his dust box and always it is full of dust.

I think my rug will be disappeared because he will vacuum all of rug someday.

If someone waver to buy it or not, I really recommend you must buy!
