干しイモ Half dried sweet potato

昨年、会社を退社し茨城へ行った友人から
干し芋が送られて来ました。

干し芋なんて別に全国どこでもあるでしょ？？
でも、茨城の干し芋はちょっと違う。
普通はスライスされているけど、これは丸ごとだね。
サイズも全然小さい。
茨城県民の友人は数人居るけど、干し芋の話してた奴は
いなかったが名物なんだって。

まぁ、言ゆたって芋でしょ・・・・。ってナメてたらイカンっ！
超甘～ぃ！
もう、何やろこの甘さはっ!?
芋の域を超えてる。これはスイーツよ。
緑茶とメチャクチャ合う。
半生状態なので、そのまま食べても良いが、レンジで温めると甘さが倍増。
いやぁ、参りました！
これは美味い！

I’ve got a gift, half dried sweet potato, from friend who resigned our company and now living in Ibaraki prefecture.

You may think we can find the dried potato everywhere, right?

But the Ibaraki’s is little different with the normal one.
The normal one is sliced and dried but this is full size, not sliced, and also the size is much smaller.
I have some other friends, living Ibaraki, but no one talk about this dried potato but it seems to be very popular in Ibaraki.

I think everybody think it is just dried potato so not so tasty, right?

BUT!!! This is much sweeter than I expected.
This sweetness is absolutely beyond sweet potato level.
This is close to potato cake and fit with green tea.
It is half dried so I can eat it as is but if I make it hot by microwave oven the sweetness will be double.

I was really surprised with this good taste!

中国出張2月2015 Business trip to China 2015 Feb

2月2日～5日の日程で中国出張。
杭州⇒上海⇒大連のルートで3泊4日。

今回は美味しい中華料理を食べる機会にも恵まれて、別の意味で
実り多き出張でしたわ～。
上海、杭州は雪が無いのは解っていたんだが、大連も雪が無いんだね～。
札幌と同じ緯度だって聞いていたので、てっきり雪が有るもんだと思ってたけど
全然無し。
でも、その分寒いの何のって。
雪ってのは、一見寒そうに見えるけど、実は寒さを軽減してくれてるんよ。

そんな訳で大連駅の前で撮影して来ましたぜ！

ところで、中国ってのは知っての通り何でも漢字になっちゃうんだよ。
で、世界中の誰もが知ってるこの会社はこうなっちゃうんだよね～。
英語だとマッヵドゥネルってなるけど、この漢字を日本語で発音すると
ムギドウロウかね？

近くは無いけど遠からず・・・。有りか??

本日、とても嬉しい知らせが届きました!!!
ワシのブログに時々書き込みをしてくれたり、一緒に温泉に行ったりする
トロントで知り合った韓国人の友人が大学に合格しました!!!

彼は3年位前に大韓航空を退社して薬科大学入学目指して頑張っていたんですが
中々合格出来なくて、私もとても心配していたんですが、遂に合格した様です!!
以下、彼からの連絡です！
無職から脱却ですわ！是非何かプレゼントを贈ります！
ま、Gwang-juって何処か知りませんけどね。

Today, I got very happy news!!!

My Korean friend, I met in Toronto, passed Pharmaceutical University!!!!

He is always checking this blog and left comments some time and we went to Onsen hot spring together 2 years ago.

He resigned Korean Air about 3 years ago and started study for going to the Pharmaceutical University but the exam is very difficult so he couldn’t pass 2 years.

BUT!!! Finally he made it!!!

Below is his e-mail, which I received.

He will finish jobless life!

I really want to send him gift for starting new life!

By the way, where is Gwang-ju??

旭川 Asahikawa

3泊4日のスケジュールで、22日から母親の付き添いで旭川へ帰郷。
まぁ、当たり前の事ですが冬の北海道は寒いです。

私が着ているコートですが、寒いと保温し、暑くなると熱を放出してくれる
ダウンジャケットで、その実力を北海道で確認。
保温は冬の北海道でも驚く程暖かい。これは全く文句無し！
でも、暑くなり過ぎても熱を放出してくれてる感じは無かったな。

で、気付いた事が1つ。
北海道でこれだけ暖かいって事は、静岡では暑過ぎて使えない・・・・・。
結構気に入って買ったんだが。

I backed to Asahikawa 4days 3 nights schedule for attending my mother.

Of cause, Hokkaido is very cold in winter.

Could you notice my wearing coat?

In case of cold, this coat will keep warm and when it’s going to too warm, this coat will effuse the heat.

Shop staff said this down jacket has this kind of function so I tried to confirm it this time.

The keeping warm is really working!

I couldn’t feel any cold even in Hokkaido.

I don’t have any complain about this keeping warm function.

BUT!!! I couldn’t feel any about this effusing heat.

It was really hot and sweated a lot!

Then I realize one thing.

Even in Hokkaido, It can keep warm enough like this, if I ware this in Shizuoka, it is too hot so I cannot use this.

I really please this coat though…

ここに住んでいた時には毎日これを見て生活してたんだよ～。
やっぱ何かほっとするわ～。

再検査γ-GTP Re-medical check γ-GTP

昨年10月の健康診断で肝機能γ-GTPが100を超えていた為、
一昨日再検査！
本日結果が送られて来て恐る恐る開けてみると・・・・全て正常値！
１１月はかなりお酒を控えてましたが、12月になり休刊日も無くなり、
これはマズいと思い１月は週末を休刊日に。
その成果が出ましたなぁ。

健康第一！
この状態をキープ出来る様に気を付けます！

I took medical check again the before yesterday because my liver’s γ-GTP was beyond 100 at medical check in last Oct.

Today, the result was coming to my hand and I timidly open it..

My liver is fine now!!!

I almost didn’t drink alcohol in Nov but in Dec, I started drinking it every day so the liver holiday, not drinking alcohol, was despaired.

The situation is very bad for my liver so I made liver holiday every weekend again in Jan.

I think the decision affected to this good result.

You know, the most important thing is health!

I will try to keep this condition!

老化か？？ Aging

ブログでも紹介してますが、最近コーヒーが美味しく感じる様になりました。

きっかけは数ヶ月前に嫁の実家からの帰り道。
何となくコーヒーが飲みたくなってセブンイレブンコーヒーを買ったのがきっかけ。
それまではコーヒーを飲みたいと思う事は殆ど無く、まぁ～１年に1～2度って程度よ。

でも、その時に飲んだセブンのコーヒーが何故か美味しいと思ったんだな。
それからという物、豆を買って毎日コーヒーを飲んでます。
これって老化の一種だとワシは思うんです。
今まで感じていたはずの嫌な味覚を感じる事が出来なくなった為に
コーヒーが美味しく感じる様になった。

小学生の時に初めて飲んだビールと同じ。
何で、こんなに苦い物を飲んでんだっ！って思ったでしょ？
でも、今はそのほのかな苦さを感じながらも美味いっ！って思えるんよ。
それは苦さを感じる味覚が年齢と共に失われているからだよなぁ～。

そんな訳で近くにララポート磐田が有るので豆はＫａｌｄiで買ってます。
この時はﾂｯｶｰﾉﾌﾞﾙﾎﾞﾝを飲んでましたが、今はｶﾌｪｼﾞｰﾆｮ。
色々と試してみたいと思います。

As I’m saying in this blog, nowadays I was feeling coffee tasty.

Trigger was some months ago, on the back way from wife’s home in Osaka.

I don’t know why but I felt I want to drink coffee so I stopped at Seven Eleven and bought it.

Till the time, I want to drink coffee a few a year normally.

It is almost one or two times a year.

But somehow the time, I felt the Seven Eleven’s coffee is very tasty.

From the day, I’m buying coffee and drinking it every day.  

I think this is kind of aging.

I can taste good at coffee.

But why I can feel it? Because I think now I cannot taste some bitterness so I can taste coffee good.

I think it is same as first time when you drunk beer at elementary school student.

The time you may think why adults are drinking this kind of bitter beverage.

But now I can taste the little bitter good.

I think now my bitter feeling is declining with aging.

I’m buying coffee at coffee shop Kaldi in Lalaport Iwata.

This time I was drinking Tucano Bourbon but now Cafezinho.

I want to try various coffee.

2015年正月 Happy New Year 2015

今日まで大阪の嫁の実家へ行っていた為、ご挨拶が遅れました。
明けましておめでとう御座います2015年！

今年も恒例の富士山です！
これは8月にシンガポール行きの飛行機から撮影。
実り多き1年になります様に！！

大阪は昨日から雪が降り、朝の時点でこんな感じでした。
名神高速は通行止めや渋滞で大阪を出たのは15時前で
磐田に着いたのは21時過ぎ。
約6時間かかりましたが、正月で通行止め有ってなんで、まぁ早い方ではないかと
思います。

In Osaka, snow was coming from yesterday and the morning on 1^st Jan was like this.

Meishin highway was impassable and heavy traffic jam so I left Osaka at little before 15 o’clock and I could reach at Iwata after 21 o’clock.

It took about 6 hours but New Year’s Day and impassable so I think it is so so.
