スカイツリー Sky tree

講習会場の屋上から、東京スカイツリーが見事に見える。
今更だけど、思わず撮影。
でも、登りたいとは全然思わん。

As I told you I was taking class in Tokyo and from rooftop at the place, I can see Tokyo sky tree clearly.

Yah, I know it is not new but I took picture because I could see it with very good condition.

BUT!!! I never want to go up there.

再会2014 meeting again her 2014

昨日から東京で講習会。
そう、東京と言えば、あの人。
ほぼ一年振りに日本橋でH子ちゃんとタイ料理でお食事～。
相変わらず綺麗で、楽しかったぁ～。
で、彼女との打ち合わせで決定事項が有ります。
数年に一度でいいから、トロントで会った仲間と海外旅行しようっ！って。
何処かは解らんが、ハワイ？オーストラリア？タイ？宮古島？
でも、それぞれの家族を連れて集まるのって楽しそうだよね？
という事で次の連絡を待てっ！

ところで、俺のデコ広がってる????

From yesterday, I was taking class about wood drying at Tokyo.

Yes, you may know who is there in Tokyo.

I could meet Hiroko at Nihonbashi in Tokyo an interval of almost one year and ate Thailand food.

She is nothing change always beautiful and we could spend very good time.

Then we decided an idea.

We want to go to trip to somewhere foreign country with friends whom we met in Toronto once per some years.

We don’t have any idea yet where we going but how about Hawaii, Australia, Thailand and Miyako Island in Okinawa?

Most of friends have family now so we can meet not only friends but also family!

Don’t you think it is great idea?

We will talk and give you some plans later so please wait.

By the way, I would like change topics.

ゴーヤマリネ Bitter melon marinade

嫁のリクエストで写真を掲載します。

今年は去年と違ってゴーヤが結構収穫出来てます。
そんな訳で思った以上に収穫出来た時は、嫁さんがゴーヤマリネを
作ってくれるんですが、不本意ながら、これが結構イケるんです。
まぁ～、他人様に言える程ではありませんが、そこそこ美味い。
ホント”そこそこ”ですよ、そこそこっ！

先週末、大阪の実家に帰った時に嫁が父ちゃんに、マリネの自慢話をしたもんで
どんな感じなん？って聞かれたらしいです。
で、嫁が父ちゃんに見せたいから写真をブログに掲載しろ！って。
父ちゃん、これが娘自慢のゴーヤマリネです。
そこそこでしょ？

I’ll show you this picture because of wife’s request.

This year, we could harvest many bitter melons so when we get them my wife cook bitter melon marinade and it is little good.

It is not enough that proud to other people but it is little good.

Don’t misunderstand it is really little.

Last week, we visited wife’s home and the time, wife boasted her marinade to her father and he was interested in it.

Then she wants to show him the marinade so she requested me to appear the picture.

Dad, This is the her special marinade.

It is little good, right?

ゴーヤ近況！ Bitter melon growth

いや～、最近あれやこれやと忙しくてブログの更新が疎かになってました。
しっかし、今年の夏は涼しくないですか？
気が付けば、もう9月も中旬。
何時もなら、まだまだ暑いなぁ～。って汗をかいている時期なのに、
今年は、もう朝晩寒いくらい。

さてさて、しばらくゴーヤ君達の近況をご紹介していなかったので
動画でお見せします。
明日はゴーヤカレーやーっ！

I was busy nowadays so I didn’t update my blog.

Don’t you think this summer is cool?
You know it is already middle of Sep.

Normally Sep is still hot and sweating every year but this year I feel little cold in morning and night.

Anyway, I haven’t introduced my bitter melon’s growth for while so I’ll show you with movie.

I’m going to cook Goya curry tomorrow!

初ドリアン First experience of eating durian

19日からインドネシア出張～。
タイ旅行から帰って来ての連続東南アジアで少々お疲れです。

さて、果物の王様と名高いドリア！
しかし、ワシは今まで食べた事が無い。
噂では超旨いが、臭いがキツイ。
ホテル、飛行機には持ち込み禁止っつー果物だよね。

どんだけ旨いんか？？
と興味深々で頂きましたが・・・・。
ま、別にマズくは無いが・・・そんなビックリする程というか、果物王様って程は
旨いとは思わなかった。
食感は溶けかけのバターの様にネトっとした感じで、食べた事の無い味。
甘みは全然強くなく、ビビっていた臭いもほのかにする程度で別に臭くは無い。

中々日本で食べるチャンスは無いと思いますが、東南アジアに行った時には
試してみて！

I’ve visited Indonesia since 19^th Aug because of business trip.

As I introduced in this blog, I went to Bangkok as personal tour last week so I’m little tired because of coming South East Asia 2 week straight.

Anyway, you may know the name durian which is called “King of fruits”.

I haven’t eaten it in my life.

I’ve heard it is very tasty but smell is very strong so we cannot take into hotel and airplane, right?

I had big curiousness how delicious it is??? And ate it….

Yes, it is not bad but it is not surprisingly delicious.

I thought the taste is not as king of fruits.

Texture is like beginning of melting butter and the taste is new I’ve never tasted.

It is not so very sweet and smell is also not as strong which I worried.

It is really little smell and not stink.

It is hard to get chance eating it in Japan but if you visit South East Asia, try it!

タイ旅行！ Thailand tour

15～18日でバンコク旅行に行って来ましたよ～。
本場タイ料理は美味いし、お寺は立派、それにマッサージ～。
実際の滞在日数は2日間の弾丸ツアーでしたが内容の濃い旅行が
出来ました。

しかし、タイってのは油断禁物。
親切に話しかけて来る人の話は、聞いちゃ駄目ね。
俺も危うく騙される所でした。

朝、アットポー傍でタクシーを下車。入口行こうとしたら気さくに声を掛けて来るタイ人。
今日は、王室の儀式があってAMは閉鎖。午後にならないと開かないよ。って。
じゃ、ワットプラケオに行くよ。って言ったら、そこも同じAM閉鎖。
じゃ、カオサン通りに行くよ。って言ったら、あそこの商店街は12時頃にならないと
開かない。だからここが良い、あそこが良いって遠い所ばかり教えてくれる。
こいつ怪しい。って事で、色々有難う。とお礼を言い逆側の入口へ。
全然開いてるじゃねーかよっ！

この手口結構流行っているみたいで、歩いていると「今日はクローズだよ～！」って
やたらと声をかけられる。
みんなタクシー、トゥトゥク、バイクタクシーの運転手。
どんな商売やねん！

I went to Bangkok from 15 to 18^th Aug with my wife.

Food was nice, Temple is beautiful and massage is also good.

We could stay only 2days but I could enjoy a lot!

BUT! If you visit Thai, you have to take care.

If there are people who try to talk you very kind, you don’t need hear the people’s advice.

I was almost cheated.

This is the story.

In the morning in front of Wat Pho temple, we got off taxi and walked to entrance.

One guy was trying to talk me.

He said today there is royal family’s ceremony in here so Wat Pho is closed AM.

It will be open from PM.

I said OK if so, we will visit Temple of the Emerald Buddha.

The guy said it is also doing same ceremony so AM closed. I can go into there from PM.

I said Oh really! OK I will go to Khaosan road.

The guy said the area’s shops don’t open till around noon so even now I go there nothing I can see.

So the guy advised me many good places for tour but all of them are far.

At first I thought this guy is kind but it is unreliable all places I want to go are closed??

So I express him thank and went to opposite side entrance.

Wat Pho was perfectly open for everybody!

I could entry and take massage.

This kind of fraud is like popular in Bangkok because if we walked sidewalk, we will be spoken “Today Close!” from lots of people.

But the all speakers are taxi, mortar cycle taxi and Tuktuk drivers.

What a annoying people they are!

台風11号 Typhoon 11th

四国、九州方面では結構な被害が出ている様ですが、
今回の台風ルートは静岡を外れて雨は全然少ない。
しかし、風はそれなりに吹いてまっせ～。
その被害は思わぬ所に・・・・・。

Typhoon 11^th hits to Shikoku and Kyusyu islands and made big damage in there but it doesn’t come to Shizuoka and we don’t have rain a lot.

But you know it is Typhoon so strong wind is of cause coming to our area too.

And the damage is coming to my house too but it was I didn’t expected place.
