行くまで知らなかったんだけど、関市は刃物で世界的に有名らしい。
昔は日本刀を作っていたが、今は包丁を日本国内は勿論海外へも
バンバン輸出してるんだってよ。
包丁って言うと大阪堺ってイメージが強いけど関市もスゴイらしい。
さてさて、そんな訳で刀匠の神様を祭っている春日神社へ行って来ました。
Today, I’m coming to Seki city in Gifu
prefecture for one day business trip.
I haven’t known till coming here, Seki city
is very famous in the world about knife.
Long time ago, people were making Japanese
sword but now they are producing knives and not only domestic but also exporting
the knives a lot.
When I image a knife, I visualize Sakai
city in Osaka but Seki city is also said very popular for knife.
Anyway, I took a picture in front of Kasuga
shrine which enshrines god of sword smith.
